At last zambia celebrates her 46 years of peace with joy

Finally the day many zambians have been so curious about has come... the 46th independence anniversay...the day first republican President Dr kenneth kaunda was handed the instrument of goverment from princess royal at about midnight 46 years ago.And for the first time the national flag was hoisted connoting partriotism and unit.

In one of his independence speeches on the BBC Dr kenneth kaunda was qouted as saying: ...let's all be proud of zambia;let's be proud of our achievement and of our ambition for the future, but let's also show humility towards God and friendship towards others...

Indeed, humility towards God coupled with friendliness towards others including those who wrong you in one way or another is one of the prerequisite of true christianity.
Look, today zambia is called a christian nation because of those two rare qualities zambians themselves possess.

This year independence day is on sunday. And so,many zambians started their commemoration with thanks giving prayers at ther local churches in their respective places to fulfill their obligation towards their creator, for they know without a doubt that God has been with them...guiding them from all sorts of atrocities...

Well, wherever you are, pray for zambia...Ask God to continue blessing the nation of zambia in all its endeavours to bring peace to its neighbouring countries and the world at large.Pray that zambia become a haven for everyone including you.
